Bath Salts

So called “Bath Salts” are another dangerous man made chemical compound which users can swallow, snort, smoke or inject.  Users experience a similar high produced by amphetamine and cocaine.  There is no chemical resemblance between actual Epsom salt bath salts, and the street drug bath salts so the name is nothing short of misleading.

Bath salts have been found in Las Vegas sold in smoke shops, tattoo parlors and even gas station convenience stores.  But recently they have been more difficult to obtain. To attempt avoiding being sold as an illegal drug, many bath salt product labels will state something like “Not intended of human consumption”.

Will Bath Salts Make You Positive on a Drug Test?
The usage of bath salts will not be detected in a typical urine drug screen, but rather through Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (GCMS) or Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LCMS) Technology.  American Toxicology uses LCMS.
