Split Sample Testing

Every DOT urine drug test conducted using a split sample method of testing. The Patient gives the urine sample in a cup, and then the DOT Certified collector pours the sample from the original cup into two separate containers which are then sealed in view of the donor. One sample is opened and tested while the other sample remains sealed for any third party lab test requests by the donor.

SAMHSA

Each urine specimen collected for DOT is tested in a Federally certified and licenced SAMHSA laboratory. American Toxicology has a relationship with several various SAMHSA labs for our DOT testing.
